The Role
You will be joining at an exhilarating time in ATDWs lifecycle as a 20+ year business.

This year the business is launching their world-class modernised digital platform, as well as the new brand, taking ATDW into the next decade of making an impact.

This role will be pivotal in initially guiding our current 270 plus partners through this change.

We are offering an exciting opportunity to lead and reshape the future distribution strategy, with a greater focus on international commercial partnerships.

This role suits someone who enjoys working collaboratively, and yet is also able to add significant individual value in creating the future of ATDWs distribution ecosystem, being clearly aligned to broader business objectives.


As an integral part of the ATDW Leadership Team, this position reports directly to the CEO, and will be responsible for developing and implementing the end-to-end distribution strategy for the business.

The role includes high-level stakeholder engagement, customer relationship management, business development planning, associated contract negotiation and ongoing collaboration on conversion rate optimisation and technical support of the businesses partners.


As the Distribution Manager, you will;

  • Be responsible for the development and evolution of the Distribution partnership strategy/framework to acquire, improve and support Distribution both locally and internationally.
  • Provide ongoing support for existing regional and state distributors (eg. RTOs).
  • Drive the growth ambition through distribution and partnership sales and ongoing Relationship management.
  • Establish a communications plan customised for distribution partner segments.
  • Develop and evolve distribution collateral (education programs, best practice guides, API documentation, technical user guides and onboarding support)
  • Provide guidance and technical support for distribution stakeholders seeking new ATDW Distribution services or assistance with existing services.
  • Be responsible for account management, proving reports and insights to inform governance and business goals.
  • Support business objectives and key projects in other areas as needed including digital marketing, communications, content, data, technology or platform development.

About you

  • Ideally you will have a background in
    International and Domestic distribution in the Travel and Tourism sector to favourably influence the distribution strategy and understand target sectors of commercial and international distribution.

Technical aptitude including API knowledge and understanding of website development processes is required to assist and support customers through change transition and with the sale and onboarding of ATDW product offerings.

  • Existing
    stakeholder engagement experience, knowing how to develop and nurture key relationships to optimise the value they extract/receive from ATDW.
  • Your
    commercial acumen and solid understanding on how the tourism industry works will allow you to work in an influential capacity with large Tourism bodies and the broader commercial sector here and abroad.

Business development experience; excellent written and verbal communication; stakeholder relationship management skills and well versed in growing networks and revenue streams will support you in this role and business.
