Organisation;

Brightside Recruitment is representing a medium sized Not-for-Profit Specialist OOHC Service, providing services to children and young people aged 12 and 24 years old.


Role;
Based in Sydney's vibrant Inner West, this is a role not to be missed. We're looking for someone with the passion and experience to lead, manage and mentor staff.

The role requires working knowledge of the OOHC space, a firm understanding of the needs of the program, and a broad knowledge of Community Services.


As the Service Quality Coordinator, you'll work in partnerships with another SQC and essentially act as 2ic's to the OOHC Manager, working alongside the Team Leaders on service quality, risk, compliance, capacity planning, budgeting, and service strategy.


Criteria;

  • Demonstrated ability to lead, influence and manage a team.
  • Extensive knowledge of supervision, coaching, reflection and support models to support staff in their role.
  • Demonstrated experience in supporting staff with underperformance or managing performance issues.
  • Knowledge of Community Services Quality, Risk and Compliance aspects.
  • An ability to integrate workplace learning into effective practice.
  • Understanding of legislative and compliance requirements of providing services to children and young people at risk of homelessness.
  • Understanding of the actions required to maintain a safe working and living environment for service users, staff members, and others visiting the residential setting.

Additional Information;

  • Immediate start available
  • SCHADS Level 6 ($96,962 $101,250) plus super and SPB's
  • Current NSW drivers licence required
  • Must have access to own car work work purposes
  • A successful NSW Working with Children Check (WWCC) and National Police check is required prior to starting in this role
