The Role


The NBCF are wanting to bring on board an experienced (part time) IT Manager, working 4 days a week that is able to manage the current MSP and to own the ICT roadmap.

The IT Manager will manage the relationship with external providers to make sure the ICT and Cybersecurity environments are progressively improved and maintained to the highest standards.


Core Duties:


  • Manage the relationship with the selected vCISO consultancy and MSP, ensuring that all SLA's are met.
  • Conduct market scan exercises with the Director of Digital Technology for vendor selection.
  • Work with 3rd party suppliers to certify against PCI and NIST frameworks.
  • Monitor and escalate alerts from various system monitoring platforms.
  • Manage implementation and upkeep of security tools such as: EDR, SIEM and SWG (in conjunction with the vCISO).
  • First point of contact for physical support for all onsite users.
  • Asset and hardware management as well as user onboarding/offboarding
  • Management of O365, MS Defender, Intune and LastPass.
  • Proactively make recommendations to ongoing systems and cybersecurity improvements.
  • Work with the Director of Digital Technology on creating the strategy and roadmap for ICT and Cybersecurity.
  • Assist with quarterly board reports and budgeting.

Role Requirements:


  • Broad technical knowledge across IT support, Networking, Infrastructure and Cybersecurity.
  • Demonstrated experience with onpremise systems and tools
  • DNS, DFS, Print Services, DHCP, AD, Domain Controllers and Exchange.
  • Experience working with Cloud technologies
  • Azure, O365 and Exchange Online.
  • Knowledge of Intune, LastPass & Defender
  • Experience working across end to end projects (exposure to Cybersecurity projects is highly desirable)
  • Create and nurture strong relationships with internal users and vendors.
  • Take a continuous improvement approach to work, with a drive to improve and maintain high levels of service across NBCF as well as keep abreast of the latest technology trends.
  • Create and achieve SLAs with the MSP partners.
  • Experience with RFP / RFQs and vendor selection.
  • ITIL v4 certification
