About the role


In Origin Retail, the Credit & Collections strategy team plays a pivotal part in developing the necessary capabilities for credit collections and payments within the Kraken platform.

Your responsibilities will encompass a broad range of activities, starting from the strategic design phase all the way through to building, testing, and evolving the Kraken platform.


Collaborating closely with various stakeholders across the business, including Credit Energy Specialists, Energy Specialists, Developers, and working groups, you will contribute to enhancing credit collection processes and continuously improving our operations.

Your expertise in credit strategy will serve as a valuable resource in shaping our approach.


Key responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic plans to effectively reduce debt levels, employing innovative approaches and best practices to achieve tangible results.
  • Work in an agile manner, concurrently handling multiple work streams to support compliance and business requirements. Contribute to multiple projects by completing and updating project documentation, managing scope, adjusting schedules when necessary, prioritizing tasks, and effectively managing internal and external relationships.
  • Drive process design changes through comprehensive analysis, focusing on quality improvement, data management, and recommending process improvements or reengineering. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to align systems with longterm business strategies.
  • Support the implementation of business solutions by identifying needs, testing new functionality, monitoring progress and results, recognizing improvement opportunities, and adapting to competing demands, organizational changes, and new responsibilities.

Skills & Experience

  • 2+ years working across projects, process improvement, systems implementations / changes.
  • Understanding of Tableau or SQL for generating insightful reports. Skilled in extracting and manipulating data using SQL code & optimizing queries for performance.
  • Proficiency in project management tools i.e., confluence, process maps, and Miro
  • Credit strategy development and implementation across the complex collections journey
