THE COMPANY:

This company are a global leader within the freight forwarding space.

They manage and provide both air, sea and rail freight solutions on behalf of some one the world's most recognisable brands.

This family-owned business have over 250 branches across almost 60 countries.

They are on the lookout for a standout Warehouse Manager to manage day to day operations of the warehouse from end to end.


THE ROLE:


Reporting to the Branch Manager this is a fast-paced position with a high level of stakeholder interaction and people management across multiple communication streams.

This role will also play a key part in the development of brand new warehousing and distribution facility in early 2023

Duties will include;

  • Supervision, onboarding, training and development of a large team
  • Ensuring the site remains safe and in line with all compliance procedures across OH&S, customs, quarantine and other required frameworks
  • Ensure warehouse assets remain maintained and regularly serviced
  • Identify and communicate process improvements to management
  • Maintain budgets, raise purchase orders and any further documentation required

ABOUT YOU:

you will have a customer focused attitude and enjoy working as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

In addition;

  • Proven experience in a leadership capacity within a fastmoving, high volume warehouse environment
  • Strong people skills, you hcan tailor your communication style to each and every stakeholder
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • A high level of attention to detail
