The Role:


The Warranty Supervisor is responsible for coordinating the successful completion of all commissioning and warranty works within their designated region both in customer satisfaction and profitability.

This includes supporting the Connected Services program by ensuring that where practicable all chillers are connected to the Carrier SMART Service platform at the time of commissioning enabling machine monitoring and health reports to customers adding value to the Carrier service offering and strengthening the Carrier chiller retention.


Another key element of this role is also upskilling technicians on Carrier chillers and reviewing and distributing all new technical information to the relevant internal stakeholders.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Ensure ownership is taken on sites awarded as your "designated client base" to ensure satisfactory, value adding and efficient outcomes for clients at all times whilst ensuring set margin targets/ Revenue growth Targets are in line with desired outcomes for Branch
  • Monitor and report on Warranty/ Commissioning performance
  • Recover time where possible on commissioning and warranty work orders (this expectation will vary depending on workload within the designated region
  • Provide technical support to Field Technicians with troubleshooting and preparation of quotations
  • Review new technical information (including; service bulletins, field quality updates, new product information, etc.) and distribute the relevant field and office staff
  • Coordinate the pre commissioning works in the warehouse
  • Arrange for commissioning works to be coordinated and booked with service coordinator
  • Support the BDM/AM in converting the warranty equipment into ongoing service contracts and provide the required information for the contract input process
  • Meet the documentation requirements for quality feedback and warranty claims.
  • Provide technical support to Field Technicians with troubleshooting and preparation of quotations
  • Arrange for commissioning works to be coordinated and booked with the service coordinator

Experience and Skills:


  • Previous experience within the HVAC field or an affiliated mechanical services industry
  • Service or Account Management experience would be an advantage
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC & related industries
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Leadership skills
