Are you passionate about energy transition and the opportunities and challenges arising from decarbonization?
We're looking for a research analyst (Associate Director level) to join UBS' Australian Energy & Utilities equities research team to:
conduct valuation analysis focusing on the power, renewables, oil and gas sectors

- convert industry knowledge into understandable investment opinions
- build and maintain financial models to evaluate historical information and generate projections
- provide investment recommendations based on modelling, valuation and risk assessments
- remain current on market developments to help frame investment strategies

Your team

You'll be working in the Australian Equities Research team in Melbourne. We provide investment insights to domestic and international institutional investors on the Energy & Utilities sectors and are consistently rated as one of the top research teams in Australia across both sectors. As an Energy & Utilities research analyst at UBS, you'll play an important role analysing industry dynamics and providing investment recommendations to a wide range of institutional clients while leveraging UBS' market leading platform.

Your expertise
- ideally 3+ years of experience in a sell-side research role, accounting, consulting practice or energy/utilities company
- have successfully built and maintained financial valuation models
- confident ability to review and interpret annual reports and financial statements
- adept at both verbal and written communication of fundamental views in an articulate and confident manner
- inquisitive, organized and able to work independently.
