St Francis Xavier College is a Catholic College with enrolments of over 3,300 students for The College serves families from the parishes of Berwick, Koo Wee Rup/Maryknoll/Iona, Narre Warren and Pakenham under the governance of Diocese of Sale Catholic Education Limited (DOSCEL).- St Francis Xavier College is easily accessed via several major freeways - only 20 minutes from Springvale Road on the M- The Risk and Compliance Administrator will perform various Risk and Compliance duties with discretion and confidentiality and provide general administration support to the Risk and Compliance team.

This opportunity can be part-time or full-time
Key responsibilities include:
  • Assist administration of the Risk & Compliance and Occupational Health & Safety Management systems
  • Provide administrative support to ensure that the college is compliant with meeting the VRQA minimum standards for school registration.
  • Support staff in meeting mandatory risk and compliance training, including Emergency Management and Child Safety
  • Assist with the Induction of volunteers into the College Child Safety System in liaison with the Director of Community Engagement
  • Support the collection of School Review Surveys collation and data analysis liaison with the Director of Community Engagement
  • Assistance with Internal Staff and Student Surveys, data analysis, and report creation
  • Assist with administrative duties in relation to risk assessments
  • Provide support to the Risk and Compliance Team in Emergency Management Planning and Training
  • To keep records of Gift Notifications and Child Safe Notifications and escalate them in accordance with DOSCEL policy
  • Any other duties as directed by the Principal, Executive Team & the Acting Risk and Compliance Team Leader

To excel in this position, you will have the following skills, experience and attributes:

  • Minimum 1-2 years of an administrative assistant or equivalent experience in a similar role
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Excellent planning and organisational skills and the ability to multitask
  • Excellent computer skills with proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite
  • Strong timemanagement skills
  • Interpersonal skills to relate professionally with students and staff

  • Ability to work autonomously, manage competing priorities and as part of a team
  • Commitment to occupational health and safety
  • An understanding of and commitment to Catholic education
  • A commitment to Professional learning and growth

The role will require travel between campuses, a current driver's license and access to a motor vehicle is required.
Staff are employed under the Diocese of Sale Catholic Education Limited Schools and Secretariat Agreement 2022.
This position is classified as an Education Support Employee Category C, Level 2.
