YMCA Head Office is recruiting a
People and Culture Operations Lead on a
full time, permanent basis to join our team located in
Fortitude Valley, QLD.

ABOUT THE ROLE


As a
People and Culture Operations Lead, you will oversee and lead the P&C Operations Team, and is responsible for the P&C Business Partnering, Talent Acquisition and generalist function across the YMCA of Brisbane and Y-Care, ensuring advice, solutions and services align to the organisation's objectives at both strategic and operational levels.


Duties include (but are not limited too):

  • Oversee and support the HR Business Partner and Talent Acquisition Teams
  • Provide support to the Executive Leader, People and Culture with matters relating to Enterprise Bargaining Agreements development and negotiations with unions as required
  • Negotiation of PSA agreements and Advertising Platforms for YMCA Brisbane and Y-Care to achieve genuine and positive outcomes
  • Oversee compensation processes, including salary benchmarking activities as required, salary review processes and prepare remuneration recommendations and advice for senior management
  • Assist with the development and management of HR business metrics and board report data as required
  • Liaise with payroll to track staff movements within business and changes of terms and conditions of employment
  • Oversee area costs ensuring management of P & C Operations wages and activities are aligned to budget
  • Support the L & D Team with compliance obligations and the development and delivery of training as required

ABOUT YOU

  • 35 years' experience as P&C Business Partner Team Leader within a large organisation
  • 35 years' experience in Talent Acquisition within a large organisation
  • Degree qualifications in Human Resource Management or related disciplines
  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of current HR and IR legislative regulations
  • Project management experience
  • Strong experience with complex ER / Fair Work case management
  • Strong analytical and strategic skills
  • Positive Notice Blue Card; or willingness to obtain
