Exciting opportunity to work in an established operating team in the City of Ballarat

The Role


The role focuses on providing our customers with an efficient, friendly, high-quality customer experience via a range of customer channels including phone, face to face, and digital channels.

We have multiple positions available including fixed term (parental leave replacements) and ongoing full time and part time roles.


About You
You will be a positive, dedicated, and professional individual with a passion for providing great customer experiences.


Most importantly, you will have a strong sense community and a passion for supporting all customers of the City of Ballarat.


Key Selection Criteria

  • Demonstrated experience in providing a highlevel customer experience and a strong understanding in the principles and practice of customer service.
  • Proven ability to display empathic communication skills and a high level of written communication skills.
  • Have a track record of enhancing workplace/team culture.
  • Demonstrated ability to acquire an indepth knowledge of the City of Ballarat's services and procedures, and strong competence in the operation of Windowsbased programs and other relevant systems.
  • Experience working with people of culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.
  • Knowledge and understanding of health and safety issues relevant to work activities and work area.
