About the role


The Project Scheduler/Planner is responsible for the preparation and management of Integrated Project Master Schedules and providing scheduling, earned value and project controls reports for External Maintenance Availabilities (EMA's), Defect Rectification Periods (DRP's) and Maintenance Window Opportunities (MWO's).


Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Develop and maintain Integrated Project Master Schedule (IPMS) for EMA's and MWO's and continuous maintenance;
  • Regularly analyse IPMS and manage schedule variance and float;
  • Produce and evaluate project management information from IPMS;
  • Ensure all planning interfaces and interdependencies are fully captured in the IPMS;
  • Produce and maintain critical path analysis and key event/milestones plan;
  • Identification of quantitative schedule risk through analysis of IPMS;
  • Support the Production Manager in preparation of weekly project reports and adhoc reports to NSM management; and
  • Directly engage with Subcontractors and Project Supervisors to obtain IPMS data and updates.

Essential:


  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills;
  • Ability to work as an effective team member;
  • Strong ethics and integrity;
  • Welldeveloped communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Demonstrated experience in maintaining delivery to high technical and quality standards;
  • Demonstrated experience in a similar role;
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Excel; and
  • Working experience in earned value analysis, critical path method & associated reports.

Desirable:


  • Experience with other scheduling software (Open Plan Professional, MS Project, Acumen Fuse, Primavera Risk Analyser);
  • Knowledge of Earned Value Management Systems;
  • Intermediate skills in other Microsoft Suite programs such as Power Query/BI; and
  • Competent in the use of SAP.

Essential Compliance Requirements:


  • Must either hold, or be eligible to obtain an Australian Defence Security Clearance to Negative Vetting1 level; and
  • Construction Induction Card (White Card).
