About the role


Reporting to the Fleet & Asset Manager, you will be responsible for storing and maintaining stock at an optimum level in order to service the operational requirement of the company.


Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Responsible for keeping the store area organised, clean, tidy and free of hazards.
  • Maintain safe and correct storage of all parts and items under Parts Warehouse control.
  • Ordering of parts and consumables items as required.
  • Pick and pack goods for branches and workshop.
  • Load and unload incoming and outgoing goods and reconciling against supplier paperwork.
  • Raising and closing of works order and purchase orders.
  • Liaise with freight carriers to develop and maintain high service levels.
  • Inventory control.
  • Liaise with suppliers and accounts for invoices.
  • Safe forklift operations.
  • Data entry when required.

Who we are looking for

  • Previous experience in a similar role.
  • Current forklift licence.
  • High level of computer skills, including Microsoft office and Microsoft Dynamics AX.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Good organisational and planning skills.
  • Ability to interpret parts and orders.
  • HR Licence desired.
  • Excellent customer service skills and communications skills.
