We are seeking a skilled and experienced Knife hand who is not afraid to get his/her hands dirty to join our team.

As a GROWING business in Maroochydore we need all knife hands on deck

We are a drug free employer looking for Seafood/kitchen/Retail customer Service team members who want to grow with our business.

Hours are:
Monday-Friday

9am-6pm.

As a team member you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest quality of seafood and food products for our customers.

Your primary responsibility will be to efficiently and accurately:
fillet a variety of fish, adhering to quality and safety standards.

Basic Window production work

Preperation of food

Responsibilities:

Fillet a variety of fish species according to company standards and customer requirements.

Use sharp knives and other cutting tools to remove bones, skin, and other unwanted parts from the fish.

Ensure precision and accuracy in filleting to minimize waste and maximize yield.

Clean and maintain work areas, utensils, and equipment to ensure hygiene and food safety standards are met.

Monitor and inspect fish for quality, freshness, and any signs of spoilage.

Collaborate with other team members to meet production targets and deadlines.

Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries.

Requirements:

Previous experience as a Fresh Fish Filleter or in a similar seafood processing role is highly desirable. Chef/Knife Hand experience

Excellent knife handling skills and the ability to fillet fresh fish accurately and efficiently.

Understanding of food safety and hygiene practices, including proper handling of seafood products.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Physical stamina and dexterity to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks.

Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays if required.

Willingness to adhere to company policies and procedures and follow instructions from supervisors.

Salary:
$ $32.00 per hour
