About this role
We have an exciting opportunity for an excellent communicator and coordinator


Reporting to the Communications Manager, you will be supporting the teams across the Office for Health and Medical Research, within the Ministry of Health, to acknowledge and share innovations and research that will change healthcare for people in NSW.

You will be responsible for coordinating communications projects and processes, as well as developing digital communications collateral. You will be part of a small but dynamic team that works collaboratively across a large organisation.


Crown Clerk 7/8, salary from $101,947 - $112,849 p.a. (plus super and annual leave loading)

What you'll be doing

  • Responsible for coordinating communications projects and building new internal processes.
  • Liaising with internal and external stakeholders, across different specialities, to gather content to meet communication requirements.
  • Developing and scheduling content across digital platforms including newsletter, social media and website.
  • Reporting and evaluating initiatives and activities on a regular basis.

About you

We are seeking motivated and committed individuals with:

  • Experience in a fast-paced communications environment, including social media, developing written and design collateral, and newsletters.
  • The ability to build and maintain collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent organisation and project coordination skills.
  • A growth mindset, and commitment to continuous learning and personal development.
  • Ideally, you will have experience within a government organisation. Healthfocus preferred.
