ABOUT THE ROLE
As Design Draftsperson, you will be the driving force behind drafting initiatives

Responsibilities include:

Create accurate and detailed technical drawings and models using AutoCAD and 3D modelling software.
Collaborating with Project Managers and Engineers to create or update Mine Site Layouts and Equipment Drawings, including PFD's and P&ID's.
Ensure that drawings and models are accurate, complete and conform to relevant standards and regulations.
Integrating the latest AutoCAD designs and layouts into the Navisworks 3D Mine Site Model, encompassing Mine Site images, Contour layouts, and 3D Equipment Models.
Crafting detailed drawings from 3D model designs, drawings and sketches when required.
Imposing rigorous control over external Drawings, ensuring correct storage within Drawing Management Software.
Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including project managers, engineers, contractors and clients.
Providing valuable drafting support to the internal team and delivering training on robust Drawing Management Processes.

ABOUT YOU

Minimum Cert IV in Engineering Drafting.
Minimum 5 years' experience in AutoCAD, preferably in Minesite Layouts or similar.
Proficiency in working with Surveying Data, Point Cloud, Maps and Site Images.
High level skills in Xref and Layer management in AutoCAD.
Proficiency in Inventor.
Proficiency in MS Office particularly Excel and Word.
High attention to detail.
Strong communication and problemsolving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
