We are looking for a passionate and experienced Quality Control Lab Technician to join our team and play a pivotal role focusing on delivering high standard QC testing, validation processes on materials and products and carry all ranges of QC lab responsibilities on daily basis.


In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a real impact on our mission to promote sustainability and reduce plastic waste.


In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Preparing chemical solutions, reagents, and standards using routine laboratory procedures such as weighing, pipetting, and mixing of chemical solutions.
  • Performing laboratory experiments using analytical instrumentation, such as HPLC, LC-MS, ICP, titrations, and laser diffraction.
  • Testing materials by instrumental, wet chemical and physical methods according to approved procedures.
  • Collecting and analysing data using various analytical instrumentation
  • Maintaining accurate laboratory records, including lab notebooks and data files
  • Assisting in the preparation of reports, presentations, and manuscripts for publication
  • Monitoring inventory levels of laboratory supplies and order as needed.

Essential skills:


  • Bachelor's degree in chemistry or a related field
  • Experience in a laboratory setting, preferably in analytical chemistry
  • Knowledge of analytical techniques, such as HPLC, LCMS and ICP
  • Strong problemsolving and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Preferred experience with method development and validation
