  • Assist with the development and implementation of workforce strategies, policies, programs and initiatives, to enable the Department of Justice to be contemporary and meet workforce needs now and in the future.

Hours per fortnight:

73.50 hours per fortnight - flexible options available.


Duties:


  • Undertake research, analysis and support the development, coordination and evaluation of Department of Justice workforce strategies, policies, programs and procedures.
  • Develop and review human resource policies, procedures and guidelines including maintenance of this information on the intranet.
  • Provide advice to managers and employees on matters including workforce strategy, employment programs and People Strategy initiatives.
  • Work with stakeholders to identify capability development requirements and other workforce needs.
  • Produce written documents including policy documents, reports, presentations, plans, proposals, promotional materials and articles.
  • Support and coordinate the collection, analysis and dissemination of the Department's workforce data.
  • Coordinate and monitor employment programs across the Department.
  • Support the implementation of significant projects (aligned to workforce planning strategic initiatives) related to leadership, learning and capability development, employee performance enhancement, succession planning and diversity, equity and inclusion.

Desirable Requirements:


  • Tertiary qualification(s) in a business, management, human resources, and/or behavioural science related discipline.
