What you'll do
As our
Security Operations Manager, you will front the global business for all things IT and security at Daltrey.

You will plan and oversee monitoring and maintenance of Daltrey's global security operations. You will provide expertise on security technologies and concepts and enhancing the resilience of our security operations.

Coordinating continuous reviews of existing programs, protocols and planned upgrades, you will also establish escalation processes for security incidents and develop contingency plans and disaster recovery procedures.

Picture yourself in the role
This is a hands-on where you will have ownership of the critical functions below:

  • Cybersecurity strategy: develop and deploy Daltrey's cybersecurity strategy, advise leaders on critical issues which may affect security and provide expertise on security technologies and concepts
  • Monitoring cybersecurity systems: develop plans for monitoring security systems and responding to cyber security incidents, oversee identification and measurement of critical cybersecurity operations metrics and reporting
  • Maintain cybersecurity operations: oversee planning and coordination of 24/7 security operations coverage; reviews and upgrades to existing security programs, monitor compliance against security policies
  • Manage response to cybersecurity incidents: formulate internal guidelines for processing and escalation of cybersecurity incidents, review reports on incidences and breaches, oversee prioritisation of alerts and resources for incident responses

Your skills and experience
The person is just as important as the experience.

But as a minimum you'll need the to demonstrate the following:


  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, software engineering or any related technical field
  • Experience in a similar role (junior managers are encouraged to apply)
  • Excellent knowledge of security protocols and procedures
  • Experience in reporting and emergency response planning
  • Knowledge of or experience in the implementation of global standards is an advantage (in particular ISO27001) but not essential
  • Willingness and demonstrated ability to lead hands on and be close to technology
  • Selfstarter who is dedicated, hungry, and driven to succeed a true outperformer
  • Hands on approach to problem solving with an everreadiness for escalations.
  • Excellent communication, motivational, and interpersonal skills
