Sandbrook, a 109 bed residential aged care facility located in Burleigh Waters.

It is near the beautiful beaches of the Gold Coast, as well as several shopping centres, schools, public transport, restaurants and a vast range of health and community services.


As a
part time Assistant in Nursing** you'll provide assistance to our residents, ensuring they are supported with services and activities that are centred around their wellbeing, independence, interests and choices.

We have a number of shifts available, some mornings, some afternoons, some short shifts (5 or 6 hours)


The role:


  • To provide high quality, safe, and timely contemporary personal care; assisting with the functions of daily living according to the individual needs of residents.
  • Support and care for residents as they age and assisting them to maintain their independence and live with dignity, selfdetermination and comfort.
  • Assist the resident with selfcare needs, safe mobility and transfers, and complete documentation.
  • Join a caring community with opportunities to progress your career in nursing or leadership.
  • Ensuring an effective and consumer focused care and service delivery for all residents

To be successful, you will have:

  • Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual support
  • Experience in care role highly regarded
  • Valid working rights in Australia (Passport, Birth Certificate etc)
  • Valid Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
  • NDIS Worker Check (or willingness to obtain)
  • Flu vaccinations (or willingness to obtain)
  • Evidence of Covid19 vaccinations in line with current requirements
