The Role


Reporting to the Manager, Price Submission this role is responsible for supporting Melbourne Water's Price Submission and ensuring ongoing alignment across the business to the ESC PREMO framework.


This will be achieved through:

  • Project management of the Price Submission Master Plan, including all programs required to meet the ESC PREMO and WDIP obligations.
  • Lead the development of detailed project plans for each Price Submission work stream (e.g. the outputs that will be required, a detailed timeline for all tasks, key decision points, integration with other Price Submission and WDIP work streams), that align to the master Price Submission program plan and clearly reflect the requirements detailed in the ESC's Guidance Paper and the PREMO framework.
  • Coordinate and project manage the daytoday delivery of the combined Price Submission and WDIP project plans, and ensure all key milestones and deliverables are met.
  • Maintain and develop existing project planning documents in an adaptive way, collaboratively with the Manager Price Submission and Working Group. Documents include; project plans, terms of reference, risk register, project reporting and evaluation documents
  • Manage the project risk register adaptively and undertake risk reporting, ensuring key risks are identified, communicated and managed in a timely manner
Your Skills and Experience

  • Strong Project Management skills and experience in managing complex projects, including schedule and budget management, risk management and resource management.
  • Thorough understanding of the ESC PREMO framework and the Waterways and Drainage Investment Plan
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships and partnerships both within and outside the business
  • Relevant tertiary degree
  • Experience in working in an Agile Team environment is an advantage
