The Role:

We are looking for experienced Mechanical Services Supervisors to join us in Brisbane for a minimum 12 months contract.

The Duties:

Maintaining a comprehensive working knowledge of the contract, the specifications, the EBA and safety and environmental regulations.
Effectively coordinating and supervising the utilisation of all onsite resources for the project.
Ensuring all workers are inducted onto site before commencing work.
Monitoring construction progress and compliance to safety and environmental standards.
Ensuring accurate time sheets are submitted to the pay office within specified time frames.
Managing site security and material/plant deliveries and storage and general housekeeping.
Ensuring all operations are performed in accordance with agreed safe methods of work.

The Person:

Trade qualifications in a relevant discipline (Mechanical).
Experience in delivering large scale civil projects in a Supervisor or Foreman capacity.
Strong leadership, team building and stakeholder management skills.
Experience managing resources to deliver work to between $1M and $50M.
Demonstrated commercial experience including:
Forecasting labour and materials;
Monitoring cost and time of allocated resources;
Comprehending subcontractor contracts; and
Reviewing procurement packages.
