About the role
Are you an experienced CSSD Technician or recently completed your certification who is self-motivated and enthusiastic?

We are currently seeking CSSD Technician's to join our dynamic perioperative team on a casual basis. You can expect to work on average 1 to 3 shifts per week. The shift times are 7:00am-3:00pm and 2:30pm-10:30pm. This role will see you working in a team of around 5 people per shift.


Key responsibilities will include:


  • Thermal disinfection inspection, packaging and sterilising of all instrumentation for theatre and other clinical areas
  • Comply with AS/NZ standards , GENCA
  • Operate interpret and document all machinery operational requirements
  • Report and document all quality activities
  • Ensure priority of instrumentation and processes

Essential Criteria:


  • Sound knowledge of AS/NZ
  • Demonstrated knowledge of instrumentation
  • Experience with tracking systems
  • Endoscopy reprocessing experience or willingness to learn
  • Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Intermediate computer literacy skills including MS office and various data bases
  • An interest in promoting best practice patient care
  • A focus on professional development
