Be part of the team that gets our military fully fit, ready to defend and protect Australia Supporting our ADF return to wellness you will identify mental health issues and work through psychosocial barriers.

As a Rehabilitation Consultant, you will drawing upon your clinical skills and support people throughout their rehab journey. You will be rewarded with real tangible outcomes. A vital link helping our ADF achieve specific health goals to be able to return to service.

  • Perform worksite assessments;
  • Collaborate with a variety of stakeholders including the employee who has suffered injury, illness, or trauma, medical specialists, other treatment providers and allied health professionals;


  • Case management

  • Implementing and monitoring rehabilitation plans.
A unique opportunity, Acumen is the only rehabilitation service provider to ADF personnel.

When supporting ADF clients on-base, you can enjoy early starts and early finishes: 7:30am - 4pm Monday to Thursday and 7:30am - 1:30pm on Fridays.

What will make you successful:


  • Full membership (or eligibility for membership) with AHPRA, AASW, ASORC/RCAA
  • Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology, Rehabilitation Counselling, Nursing or Social Work
  • Strong clinical reasoning
  • Ability to engage across multidisciplinary teams to support the achievement of a common goal
  • Passion to help people rehabilitate
