About the Position:

This is a newly created position that will join an established and supportive Workplace Relations (WR) Team.

The Workplace Relations Business Partner (WRBP) will work closely with Monash leaders to provide specialist support and advice on the obligations and entitlements of Monash and its employees.

As the WRBP for the City Services and City Development Divisions, you will be assisting diverse teams include Engineers, Gardeners, Town Planners and IT Specialists.

Monash appreciates and acknowledges the immense contribution Workplace Relations makes to leaders and employees alike. You will be well supported in the WR Team and provided every opportunity for development and success.


About you:

A strong WR or HR background with a genuine drive to continue/develop your career as a WR specialist.

Exceptional ability to build trust and credibility with employees from all backgrounds at all levels.

Proven ability to maintain a positive and constructive relationship with employee representatives.

Sound judgment with an eye for detail.


Preferred:
Local Government Experience (or experience in a similarly complex large workforce).


Requirement of the position:

Right to work in Australia;
Satisfactory National Police Check; and

Other pre-employment checks may be required depending on the role requirements.
