About the Role
We are looking for an

Environmental Advisor with civil infrastructure experience to ensure project compliance with relevant environmental legislation, regulations, and contractual obligations as it relates to the construction, design, and operation of the NELP.

This role will be accountable for:

  • Assist in developing and implementing strategies/ initiatives that encourage and promote a high-performance culture and employee engagement, including the development of defined performance and behavioural expectations of individuals, teams, and the overall project
  • Monitor and manage operational activities regarding environmental requirements
  • Responsible for the daily delivery of the project's environmental functions
  • Conducting environmental reviews, field inspections and site assessments
  • Assist SHEQ manager by liaising with regulatory bodies, ensuring compliance and problemsolving highlevel issues by guiding operational management on environmental issues
  • Site inspections and auditing of operational activities against environmental permits

About You

  • You must be an Australian Defence Force Veteran
  • Qualifications in Environmental Science and/or Engineering
  • Experience in environmental compliance within a construction environment
  • Graduate certificate or graduate diploma in Environmental, Risk, Sustainability, Project Management or other associated disciplines
  • Construction environment management
  • Knowledge of environmental statutes and legislation
  • Knowledge of relevant management systems (quality and risk)
  • Driver Licence: required
