Located in the heart of Broadbeach, just 200m from patrolled beaches, Sofitel Gold Coast Broadbeach is a luxurious five-star hotel, featuring 296 beautifully appointed rooms and suites, all with breathtaking Pacific Ocean or Hinterland views.


Job Description:


Reporting to the Night Manager, you will be responsible for general front office and night audit duties including maintaining guest accounts, posting charges, reconciling payments and generating daily reports.

You will assist in the management of the team and ensure the overnight processes run smoothly and the hotel is operating safely overnight.


Qualifications:


To be successful in this role you will be a self-motivated and well-respected leader with a passion for delivering outstanding results for the Hotel.


You will also have:

  • Previous experience in a Supervisory or Night Supervisor role, preferably within a luxury environment
  • An energetic and proactive approach to providing magnifique service
  • A meticulous and methodical approach to processing all tasks
  • An effective communicator
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs particularly Excel
  • Experience with a Hotel Property Management System (PMS) preferably Opera.
  • Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure in a busy fastpaced environment


Working 11.00pm to 7.00am, five nights per week, you will be required to work weekends and holiday periods on a rotating roster.
