We are a proud local business made up of quality-focused trade service professionals in the electrical industry.


We are looking for an Operations Manager to join our leadership team.


You will be in charge of the operational workings of our business, which involves making important strategic decisions and developing and implementing operational policies and procedures.

You will assist with recruitment when necessary and help promote a company culture that is Caring, Driven, Collaborative & Genuine.

You will be joining a fast-paced team environment in a position that includes a variety of responsibilities.


Operations Manager Responsibilities:


  • Provide leadership for the working team.
  • Make important planning and strategy decisions.
  • Assist with recruiting when necessary.
  • Help promote a company culture that encourages high performance and comradery.
  • Provide technical support to technicians, admin staff and customers as required.
  • Manage estimating, reporting, planning, and auditing.
  • Identify and address opportunities for the company.
  • Support worker communication with the management team.
  • Estimating electrical works.
  • Manage stock control of workshops and vehicles.
  • Manage daily job schedules and customer relations.
  • Help manage company safety systems.

Operations Manager Requirements:


  • Minimum of 10 years experience as an electrician.
  • Broad knowledge across all fields of the electrical trade.
  • Ability to build relationships with managers, partners, employees and customers.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Experience with SimPRO would be an advantage but not essential.
  • Understanding of material pricing and time budgeting.
  • Strong knowledge of safe work practices.

Primary Accountability

  • To manage the daytoday operations of the working team
  • To provide business growth by working closely with the administration & field teams
  • To meet and exceed KPIs
