About the Role:

***The Principal Communications and Engagement Adviser, is responsible for driving and delivering on a range of complex high profile communications and engagement outcomes across the department. The role ensures that well planned and implemented communications and engagement services achieve strategic business objectives, and stakeholders are appropriately engaged in matters that interest or affect them using the International Association for Public Participation principles (IAP2). The Principal Communications and Engagement Adviser is also responsible for ongoing strategic leadership and project management of one or more of DEW's statewide communications channels, ensuring DEW's business is well represented and using editorial judgement and high-quality editing skills to create engaging content and timely delivery.

Contract:

Contract for up to six months

Special Conditions:

May be required to participate in fire management or associated duties.
May be required to work outside of normal hours, including on weekends.
Intrastate and interstate travel necessitating overnight absences may be required.

Remuneration:

ASO7 $104,938 min - $113,435 max p.a.
