About The Role
As the
Deli Manager, you will be responsible for the successful operation of your department within this busy supermarket.

You will be responsible for leading and developing a small team, ensuring the highest quality of goods are being presented, deliver a high level of customer service, achieve sales target, financial management and ensure a health and safety standards are meet.


Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience in fresh department, deli preferred
  • The ability to train and develop staff
  • Be positive, approachable and people focused
  • Be organised and have the ability to meet deadlines
  • Control department costs such as wastage, wages and other operational costs
  • Understanding of local market and seasonal trends
  • Understand food safety standards and hold a Food Handling Certificate
  • Have the ability to work in a fast paced environment
