Position Summary

About the facility
Barwon Health's McKellar Centre is a recently upgraded facility located only minutes from the centre of Geelong.

The Inpatient Rehabilitation Centre is a 100 bed facility offering rehabilitation in Stroke, Trauma, orthopaedic and amputee streams as well as Geriatric evaluation and management and Palliative Care.

The McKellar Centre offers a range of professional aged care services. It is situated on a vibrant community asset with parkland surrounds and incorporates state of the art equipment.


About the role
We are currently seeking a Clinical Neuropsychologist to work in our inpatient neuropsychology rehabilitation service.

This is an opportunity to develop contemporary evidence-based psychology services for rehabilitation clients within the clinical setting with a strong focus on client-centred intervention.

As a senior team member you will provide leadership and supervision to Grade 2 psychologists and Masters and Doctoral students on placement and consultation to other members of the rehabilitation team.

Receive support including 1:1 and peer supervision from our large team of Neuropsychologists and Clinical Psychologists.

Registered as a Psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency with specialist endorsement as a Clinical Neuropsychologist.

Registered as a supervisor with AHPRA.

Essential:

Proven ability to conduct neuropsychological assessments and the capacity to confidently and effectively communicate these findings

Essential:

Proven ability to provide evidence based interventions for people with neuropsychological impairments


Essential:

Current Victorian Driver's Licence
