Midwifery Unit Manager (MUM) - Postnatal Unit, Midwifery in the Home and Lactation Services.
Join our multidisciplinary team of passionate clinicians providing maternity care to women in the western suburbs of Melbourne.
THE ROLE:
Located at Werribee Mercy Hospital within the Maternity Service
Managing our 32-bed postnatal unit, 7 day per week MITH Service and 6 day per week Lactation Service
Full Time - 1.0eft - Monday - Friday
Providing effective midwifery leadership and strategic direction, in partnership with the MUM of Birthing Suite, Maternity Assessment Unit and Pregnancy Day Stay
Reporting to the Divisional Director Women's and Children's Services
ABOUT YOU:
Seeking:
An innovative midwifery leader who has considerable experience in a Midwifery Unit Manager role.
Demonstrates positive collaborative skills in an established multidisciplinary team.
Experience with management processes including HR, clinical risk and effective financial management
Passionate about providing best practice immediate and extended postnatal care to women and babies.
Masters qualification in Midwifery Leadership or Health Services Leadership (or working towards)
