Overview
The Product Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the end-to-end product management lifecycle for the identified services.

This role leads the development and maintenance of service descriptions, standards and specifications, development of relevant product management lifecycle processes, and ongoing improvement of agreed service solutions and outcomes in collaboration with relevant internal stakeholders and external business partners.


Key Accountabilities

  • Provide leadership and direction to successfully deliver all key milestones and outcomes of product development and ensure continuous effective service delivery and a performancebased, innovative, responsive and accountable customerfocused work culture.
  • Leads the development and manages all aspects of product lifecycle management including customer demand, feedback, roadmap planning and prioritisation, development, continuous improvement, knowledge and any other related dependencies within NSW Health.
  • Effectively manage agreed service outcomes for the relevant product or product groups by undertaking market trend analysis to inform recommended changes to product materials in line with technical, architectural, financial, commercial, service management, and vendor management considerations.
  • Build and maintain strong and collaborative working relationships with relevant NSW Health entities and other external business partners in the development and maintenance of consistent, repeatable and scalable product artefacts.
  • Lead and coach product team to deliver product roadmap and continuous improvement in product and system enhancements, efficiency improvements, regulatory and compliance initiatives.
  • Ability to close the feedback loop, analyse customer feedback and insights to continuously evolve and improve products.
  • Drive stakeholder engagement and champion the importance and value of product management principles and product development models.

Essential Requirements

  • Extensive experience with a record of achievement in product lifecycle management and development in a large complex service environment, including relevant qualifications or equivalent demonstrated experience.
  • Extensive knowledge and experience across multiple ITIL v4 disciplines such as Service Transition and Service Operation with a focus on Service Operation and Continual Service Improvement.
  • Demonstrated expertise and extensive knowledge of product development and management of webbased products and user centred designs.
