About the Role:

Located in Sydney - the
System and Governance Manager role is responsible in ensuring the Sector complies with accreditation, certification and self-insurance requirements utilising the appropriate SHEQ systems as intended and that opportunities for improvement are identified and changes are managed.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Contribute to the compliance of the Sector to thirdparty certifications, accreditation and selfinsurance requirements
Monitor SHEQ Incident Management implementation inclusive of internal and external notifications, Event Investigation outcomes and classifications
Oversea OFSC reporting for the Sector
SHEQ risk register establishment, maintenance and reviews
Verify and validate that project plans are in place and current
Manage SHEQ prequalifications and keep abreast of legislative changes as relevant to the sector
Participate in audits as a SHEQ SME
Develop and maintain systems onboarding program
Oversee BMS Change management process, including facilitation of technical authority involvement as required
Provide SME input as required
Develop and manage the SHEQ reporting for the Sector including analysis and trend identification
Be a key team member in the operation of the SHEQ function
Provide expert advice and practical solutions to teams to ensure Assurance & Quality compliance

Key Skills and Experience:

Ability to develop and translate relevant SHEQ strategy into implementable actions for the Sector and Businesses
Proactively benchmarks relative to peers
Ability to analyse data and implement strategic objectives
Ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
5+ years in similar industry, services or construction organisation
Operational experience desirable
Lead Auditor in any of the SHEQ disciplines
Understanding of and experience with external and regulatory audit regimes
Demonstrated success in delivery of internal audit programs
