Job description:

We are partnering with one of South Australia's leading building services and engineering consultancies to engage a Building Services Drafter to join their Adelaide team.

With over 30 years of operations this business specialises in a diverse range of sectors including residential, government, health, education, and commercial sectors.

With a diverse project offering, this role will see you contribute to a variety of Tier 1 and Tier 2 projects both locally and interstate.

The role
Joining the drafting team, you will work across all building services disciplines on a variety of commercial projects. You will ensure that the technical and quality requirements of drawings are achieved, and design quality procedures are applied.

In the role of Building Services Drafter, your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

Providing documentation for issuing including drawings and specifications
Provide engineering advice and support for ongoing projects and packages of work
Develop designs and technical specifications
Liaise with multidisciplinary design drafting teams and provide support
Work closely with the project team and operations to deliver engineering solutions

To succeed in this role you will posses the following;

A minimum of 3+ years' experience working within Building Services Drafting, including mechanical, electrical or hydraulic services
Proven experience using REVIT MEP software and a sound understanding of BIM modelling
Strong communication and interpersonal skills as you liaise with architects, engineers and stakeholders
A drive to deliver exceptional outcomes within drafting and design
