A new opportunity has arisen for an I.T. Specialist to join a large Automotive company.
The IT End User & Warehouse Services Specialist will be responsible for the timely delivery of Online and Engineering Workstation (EWS) hardware and software support, Warehouse Wireless Equipment Support, Scanning Device repair and support, and Multi-Function & Label Printer support at a consistently high standard to the end user on site within Australia, and remotely supporting New Zealand.
Tasks and Responsibilities
- Assist as required with the deliverables from IT projects and tasks, e.g., Equipment Refresh, Comms changes, System updates, Physical asset handling, and Online Asset Management.
- At Warehouse sites, troubleshoot issues with handheld and vehiclemounted wireless computers, tethered scanners, and thermal transfer barcode label printers.
- Attend staff management meetings and other adhoc meetings as required.
- Complete assigned ITIL
- ITSM paperwork pertinent to job tasks, within SLT.
- Complete PC refresh activities.
- Create adhoc reports when requested.
- Document and update IT related processes where applicable.
- Engage other IT teams when required to troubleshoot or escalate tickets.
- Engage with end users in a professional and courteous manner.
- Ensure end users retain fully functional Information Technology (IT) assets.
- Maintain the IT asset database.
- Maintain Printer consumables.
- Manage & maintain IT spares inventory at all sites.
- Perform configuration changes to warehouse equipment.
- Provide guidance and advice on IT processes to the end user (e.g., IT Help and Requests).
- Provide Multi-Function Device printer hardware support.
- Provide support for computer related issues to the end user.
- Share end user delivery information such as hints and tips with team members.
- Support diagnosis of hardware and software incidents to establish root cause and drive to resolve end user issues.
- Support IT Equipment Physical Inventories.
This role would suit an entry level/graduate and the successful applicant will be required to be on-site, alternating between Port Melbourne and Dandenong facilities. If you require further information, please contact Aaron Williams on
