About the role
The Mater Hospital Brisbane has an opportunity available for an experienced
Administration Officer to join
our call centre. This is a casual position.

Call Centre is open from 7am - 5pm Monday - Friday, closed weekends and public holidays.

The purpose of this position is to provide an efficient and effective and professional service for customers, patients and staff of the Mater Health Services.

Salary range:
$ $33.28 (MCA2) + super + salary packaging

What you'll be doing
In this position you will be responsible for the following:

Managing a high volume of calls and inquiries for Mater Health Services and resolve or redirect to the appropriate department / staff member / extension in a polite and professional manner
Confirm appointments for Ambulatory and Outpatient clinics
Updating of patient information
Carry out administrative duties as required
Contribute to and maintain an efficient, productive and positive workplace and communicate and cooperate with fellow workers to promote teamwork within the department
Attend/participate in regular, both singular and work team meetings to review current work practices and participate in appropriate developmental courses

About you

Over the phone customer service experience
Proficient computer and typing skills and ability to utilise multiple computer systems
A commitment to excellent service and accuracy
Ability to work both independently and cooperatively as a team member
A demonstrated commitment to the Mater Mission and values
