Are you a techy savvy Change Officer who has excellent stakeholder management and team management skills? Ignite have partnered with an innovative and forward-thinking federal government department who are in need of an experienced Change Officer for an initial 3 month contract

This role is key in delivering various change management activities including business processes, operations procedures to enable efficiencies.


About the role:


  • Establish positive working relationships with key stakeholders to create buyin for change management, influencing outcomes and decisionmaking.
  • Conduct change management analysis and assessments to develop change plans and communications.
  • Develop written communications, templates, forums or training sessions.
  • Identify dependencies across the business and opportunities for integration.

Essential Criteria:


  • A minimum of 35 years' experience as a change and communications officer (or similar) in a government agency.
  • A thorough knowledge of change principles, processes, behaviours and skills necessary to effectively identify, manage, initiate and influence change, and manage and support others through it.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build good relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to create and implement engagement and communication strategies.
  • Demonstrated strong analytical skills and ability to develop strategies to meet organisational change needs, and evaluate their effectiveness.
  • Strong influencing and relationshipbuilding skills; able to identify and work with stakeholders; evidence of network building and driving change through others.
