About the role
Mineral Resources are currently seeking a highly experienced Site Services Superintendent.


Reporting through to Site Services Manager you will be required to advise and oversee all operations onsite including the supervision of all associated site leaders and staff to ensure a consistent delivery of services in accordance with MinRes vision, contractual and legislative requirements.


Unique role requirements

  • Provide a high level of Site support to the Camp Managers and Site Services staff; communicating changes that are relevant to the ongoing running of operations.
  • Plan and coordinate staff levels to ensure there is appropriate ratios with staffing requirements to meet customer needs.
  • Develop and deliver training to Camp Managers to remain relevant and compliant with industry practices.
  • Maintain visibility of all costs, expenses and income in line with the P&L (Profit & Loss) statement to ensure all budget constraints are managed.
  • Responsible for the safety and general welfare of employees under your control and to take whatever corrective action is necessary to maintain a safe and hygienic work environment
  • Ensuring visibility, understanding and compliance of Industry legislation, Acts and Regulations relating to Camp Accommodation and Services.
  • Understanding and maintaining appropriate camp licenses including but not limited to; Lodging, Liquor, Tobacco, Food business regulations and HACCP.
  • Ability to relieve camp managers to support site operations on an adhoc basis during periods of unplanned leave

What you'll bring to the team

  • Extensive experience in a similar role; Area Manager/ Regional Manager
  • Demonstrated extensive experience in Hospitality
  • Minimum Certificate IV in Hospitality
  • Diploma of Hospitality Management (Highly Desirable)
  • Food Safety Supervisors Course (desirable)
