Description

The Group Treasury COO team is responsible for the development and execution of the overall operational and strategic objectives of the division.

You will drive real change by contributing to the Group Treasury business and people strategy.


Based in our Head Office in Martin Place, you will be working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, underpinned by innovation and collaboration.

You will be part of a small, high-performing team and you will drive and deliver initiatives autonomously, with support from the broader team.

We are seeking a highly motivated, proactive and organised individual and creative and flexible thinker.


In this role, you will work closely with the COO Team, as well as the Chief Operating Officer and broader Group Treasury Leadership Committee, to help shape the direction of the team and ensure its effective management.

You will be exposed to a wide variety of tasks across business management, people, financial management and strategy.


What skills will you use?
To be successful in this role, you will have a track record of success in a business management role. You're proactive, efficient and have an eye for detail.

Your skills as a communicator, along with your ability to prioritise workloads is what enables you to effectively manage and deliver results for a wide and diverse group of stakeholders.


You may also bring with you:

  • 5 years of relevant experience in finance, operations or business strategy
  • Degree qualified, with accounting, finance or business qualifications.
  • Confident written and verbal communicator
  • Demonstrated sound business judgement
  • Financial analytical skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills which will give you the ability to liaise and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Demonstrated strong planning and prioritisation skills an ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks, keeping visibility on urgency/importance and readjusting prioritisation as needed and remaining agile.
