Fraud Team we're looking for an
Assistant Manager, Fraud Risk Management to join our growing Customer Operations Department.


In this key role, as
Assistant Manager, Fraud Risk Management you'll assist the Fraud Risk Manager to ensure that fraud risks impacting ING's customers, products and channels are identified, assessed and effectively managed.


You'll be working closely with internal and external stakeholders at all levels and you'll act as the Subject Matter Expert providing expertise, advice and recommendations on fraud risks, control strategies and implementation.

You'll assist key stakeholders make informed, risk based decisions in all areas of the business including across all product lines, channels and internal processes which consider both customer needs and our risk appetite.


You'll assist in governance on all projects underway in the fraud team and to provide advice on suitability for controlling risks.


What are you going to do? You will be

  • Producing quality written reports that clearly articulate fraud risks and controls in a nontechnical way
  • Ensuring fraud control frameworks remain effective and abreast of current trends with a focus on fraud risk prevention
  • Developing a single view of fraud controls with a specific view of the endtoend processes to identify gaps and ensure appropriate coverage given the risk appetite
  • Building strong relationships with 2nd line of defence, Head Office, Product and Channel and IT stakeholders to influence fraud controls
  • Drawing on key networks across the industry to remain abreast of changing fraud trends

What are we looking for? Someone who has

  • Proven experience in ensuring frameworks and processes are compliant with relevant legislation and policies
  • Knowledge of operational risk framework and governance within Financial Services
  • Conducted product / channel fraud risk assessments and reviews
  • Established negotiation, analytical and problem solving skills
