Incident Manager

What can you expect?

  • To be part of a collaborative and passionate (Line 2) team working with dynamic and growing businesses.
  • Reporting to MMC Pacific's Senior Compliance Manager, this role will assist in the management of the Compliance Management Framework by supporting the Risk and Compliance team to provide procedural compliance advice to ensure MMC operates in compliance with its policies, procedures and regulatory obligations.

  • Engaging with multiple stakeholders including local & global colleagues, auditors, regulators, clients, Senior leaders and Board members, this role will seek to build constructive working relationships and promote robust management systems & compliance culture within the organisation.

We will count on you to:

  • Drive timely completion of incident related assessments by actively influencing all stakeholders that manages incidents within MMC.
  • Engage with colleagues to review root cause analysis to ensure development of appropriate remediation response.
  • Provide constructive challenge during remediation discussions.
  • Complete reportability to regulators assessment.
  • Lead Significant Incident Review Panel meetings where assessment of reportability to regulators are considered.
  • Actively participate and contribute to management reporting and relevant forums to ensure that incident management receives the required focus.
  • Support Line 1 Risk and Compliance colleagues.

What you need to have:


  • Ideally at least 5 years' experience in a compliance, risk or auditing role
  • Understanding of and / or influence over relevant legislative and regulatory frameworks which impact service offerings and solutions.
  • Able to understand the business issues and take a pragmatic risk based decisionmaking approach.
  • Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels
  • Strong preference to have experience working in financial services/superannuation industry
