    About Your New Role

    Working within the Data & Analytics function, the Data Engineer will have direct experience working with all aspects of company data with an emphasis on data warehouse management, data extraction, cleansing and sound governance & data hygiene.

    The key tasks include:

    •Work to understand key business drivers and stakeholder requirements

    •Build data pipelines deploying models, maintain the DevOps process.

    •Create data tools and scripts to support Analytics function.

    •Participate in the design and ongoing management of company databases

    •Oversee compliance and data governance including security requirements

    •Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of current industry trends, advancements in technologies and data management concepts.

    About You

    •The successful candidate will have experience with the above listed tasks ideally as a Data Engineer, Data Steward or similar position.

    •Has database experience in MS SQL, Data Factory, Data Warehouse & Data Lake

    •Can demonstrate skills with ETL processes

    •Is experienced with SQL server stack- SSAS, SSRS, SSIS

    •You have sound programming skills, ideally with Python, Java.

    •Has 'hands on' experience in data stewardship including responsibility of governance, policy and controls.
