About the role
NSWPW has a fantastic opportunity for a senior leader to join our Management Team and play an integral role in developing and delivering commercial and strategic objectives.
In this critical senior role in the Hunter New England team, you will lead a team of project managers to deliver assigned portfolio groups including management of team resourcing, client engagement, and operational initiatives.
About you
To be successful in this role you will:
- have the commitment to ensure excellence in project delivery, client development and engagement and people leadership.
- be a motivated leader with proven ability to build a collaborative team, engage staff and develop capability and potential in others
- have proven experience planning, developing & delivering key strategic and operational initiatives
- have extensive demonstrated experience as project, procurement, contract management lead on complex infrastructure and construction projects.
- hold appropriate qualifications and/or have extensive working experience in project management, procurement, and contractor management activities on engineering and/or construction projects.
- a valid NSW Driver's Licence and willingness to drive, which may include overnight stays
