As a "Yard Hand" in one of our busy transport centres, you'll be responsible for getting those deliveries where they need to go.

You will also have the support of one of Australia's largest, newest transport fleet and you'll be playing an essential role in providing the customer service that sets Australia Post apart.


About the Role?**Working on a weekly rotating roster, this highly visible role will see you:
  • Moving trucks and trailers around the yard
  • Completing daily vehicle maintenance checks
  • Administration including time sheets and vehicle running cards

What are we looking for?

  • We're looking for capable and safe drivers who hold a current HC license mandatory) (MC License preferred)
  • An appreciation and understanding of the mechanics of large trucks
  • A good knowledge of the current Transport Department road rules and regulations
  • Someone who can work on a rotating roster on a seven hour 21 minutes per day including weekends and public holidays

What do we offer?

  • Great fulltime permanent role, this is a PM shift only: Shift will start 12 AM 7:30 AM
  • 12% superannuation


As part of the recruitment process we require you to provide a driving history report, undergo a pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol screening and national police checks.
