What we're doing

  • The financial services team is accountable for strategy development and execution, working with our partners to build our capability and product offerings, leading sales management and engaging across the other lines of business in REA.
  • As the Product Strategy Manager you will sit within the Financial Experiences team, where we are reimagining the future of exceptional home lending consumer experiences and next generation marketplaces. You'll leverage your strategy and product expertise to support the development of our product strategy and work with innovative teams and partners to deliver and position REA Financial Services as a market leader.
  • Day to day you can expect to deliver on the following
  • Your primary focus will be to work with the Product Leadership Team to develop the product strategy and sequenced roadmap to grow market share, advocacy, and revenue. This includes the planning and investment process
  • You'll work with the product teams to shape and size product, consumer and broker segment propositions, initiatives, and experiments (including success metrics and business cases) to support evaluation and prioritisation. Some of which include assisted digital marketplace, white label products and assessment of diversification opportunities
  • You'll scan the market to identify consumer, market, competitor, and product trends that influence the product strategy and recommend appropriate directional changes
  • You'll work closely with the product and technology teams to manage a diverse set of consumer and broker experiences that build trust, choice, and service across home lending journeys
  • You'll be building relationships within the broader business, the financial services tribe and with external financial services partners to help bring the vision to life
  • Who we're looking for
  • Be consumer obsessed be proactive and curious to better understand the challenges to understanding and getting finance, and be passionate about solving those problems
  • Future focused and proven experience in harnessing your curiosity to deliver disruptive solutions, shape innovation and product strategy
  • Strategic thinker you can analyse and synthesise information on the market and connect the dots to determine an appropriate approach
  • Strong financial and commercial acumen with the ability to analyse market information and data to develop compelling commercial cases to prove the viability of product opportunities
  • An excellent communicator and problem solver can talk shop with our developers, chat with consumers and pitch a business case to senior management
  • Build relationships it is the lifeblood of this business, with your team, across the group and with your product comrades in other areas of the company
  • A great understanding of consumer financial services is highly desirable
