**Overview

The Retirement & Superannuation Solutions (R&SS) Technology team is responsible for ensuring the effective and efficient operational delivery of technology services across R&SS business units and clients.


The Technical Lead - Systems Management is responsible for providing technical leadership to the team that supports Secure Transport and Batch Scheduling Tools, integration, automation, and secure data transportation across all R&SS IT Services.


The Technical Lead - Systems Management will also be required to adhere to Link Group's implementation of the ITIL framework, development methodologies and processes to improve business outcomes.

They will work with technical specialists to continuously improve the customer experience and business outcomes, recommending enhancements or opportunities to improve where appropriate.

They will work to achieve established service levels between technology and the business as well as clients.


The Technical Lead - Systems Management will be an escalation point for the team and will be required to be available on 24*7 basis for support and escalations.

Experience & Personal Attributes

  • IT degree or equivalent qualification with a recommended 10 years IT experience
  • Hands on experience in the installation, configuration, tuning/sizing, clustering, deployment and problem resolution of Integration Components such as Axway's Secure Transport and Batch Scheduling Tools like BMC's ControlM.
  • Experience in Security Profiles/ Keys Management including Configuration and Management of Secure Transport
  • Demonstrated leadership and people management skills and the ability to work to deadlines
  • Experience using Control-M batch scheduling tools including Configuration and management
  • Ability to use or develop tools to automate maintenance, configuration changes, password changes, deployments and migrations of Integration components
  • Ability to perform administrative tasks, download and upgrade firmware, create and manager user accounts and domains on the Appliances
  • Strong understanding of ITIL framework.

  • Ability to meet deadlines.

  • In depth knowledge of IT infrastructure technology including servers, desktops, networks, operating systems, platforms and configurations.

  • Strong computer literacy and technical inclination.
  • Experience in Release Coordination, IT Change and Project Coordination
  • Secure Transport 5.4 and above
  • BMC Control-M/Enterprise Manager 9.
