About the opportunity
We are seeking a dynamic and highly organised Legal Assistant to join the AI Group Newcastle based team.

This role's purpose is to contribute to the effective and efficient operations of the AI Group workplace lawyer's team by providing quality administrative support.


Key Responsibilities

  • Be a great first impression of the AI Group when responding to member enquiries
  • Accurately prepare correspondence, engagement letters and other documents as required including document control
  • Support the preparation of briefs and undertake dictation transcripts as required
  • Support advisors as required including, diary management, meeting agendas and minutes plus coordinate travel requests
  • Undertake records management, data entry and reporting
  • Support the endofmonth billing and debtor management processes
  • Be the office goto for facilities and other ad hoc administrative tasks

About you


This position is an integral part of maintaining optimum operations at the Newcastle AI Group office, therefore, a level of experience being an office "go-to" is essential.

  • A high attention to detail and proven ability to produce quality work
  • Efficient at typing with thorough working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability and willingness to trouble shoot and problem solve
  • Strong time management and able to work to deadlines
  • Effective communicator who is able to create strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • A professional and positive approach with a willingness to pitch in and contribute to team success
