About the role


Reporting to the Team Lead of Tenancy Service the role of the Tenancy Services Officer is to coordinate and support the tenancy and facilities management function within Sydney Waters shared services, Business Connec
t, providing support to the Tenancy Services team as well as specialist facilities knowledge and skill for all Sydney Water manned sites.


Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Oversee general administration and document management, keeping all relevant documentation up to date and easily accessible for the team
  • Provide accurate information and assistance to effectively manage tenancy and service requests, escalating where necessary
  • Proactively identify and produce correspondence to communicate updates, changes and key information to the business ensuring team information and processes are current
  • Maintain effective engagement with key stakeholders to ensure service and project outcomes are agreed and targets achieved
  • Consistently display high customeroriented service standards that are focused on desirable outcomes for the business and meets team objectives
  • Identify and implement ways to improve efficiency of Tenancy services processes and procedures, working with the team to track and evaluate improvements
  • Coordinate relocation/churn/furniture to fulfil requirements at Sydney Water locations, ensuring compliance and facilities requirements with key stakeholders
  • Providing back up for daytoday coordination of guest services across manned sites when required (annual leave, sick leave, staff shortages) to assist team fulfilling shift allocations
  • Report hazards, unsafe work practices, near misses or incidents immediately to manager to ensure that incidents or hazards identified in the course of work are reported, investigations are completed, and remedial action is taken.

About you


These roles will ideally suit a team member with a minimum of 3 years' experience in facilities / property management accommodating multiple workplace environments.


You have the flexibility to travel to various sites within the Sydney Water network as needed, demonstrating your ability to prioritise workloads, and identifying business support needs.

To be considered for this position you will need the following:

  • A current drivers license and own reliable vehicle
  • Currently hold or willing to obtain a First Aid Certificate and White Card
  • Experience in planning and/or assisting the planning, management and delivery of facilities works relevant to multiple workplace accommodation environments
  • Awareness of regulatory requirements as they relate to the delivery of projects including Workplace Health & Safety, Building Code of Australia, and relevant AS/ANZ standards for maintenance of facilities and assets
  • Exercise astute judgement in managing confidential and sensitive information that has the potential to impact on organisational performance and reputation.
  • Experience in high volume customer service requests and providing quality and accurate information to internal and external stakeholders
  • Effective oral and written communication skills including proven ability in preparation of written communications, reports and procedures
