About Our Client:

Our Client is a leading automotive and light vehicle parts manufacturer and installer

Responsibilities include:

Assisting Workshop Manager with daytoday running of the workshop and coaching a team of mechanics, auto electricians and light vehicles fitters.
Allocating jobs to workshop staff and ensuring the timely completion of tasks while adhering to Strict safety and quality standards and timely completion of projects.
Monitoring jobs and updating management of any unexpected delays or issues that arise
Providing technical expertise and guidance to workshop staff, assisting with complex modifications and troubleshooting mechanical issues when needed.
Ensuring workshop is holding adequate inventory of parts, tools, and equipment. Coordinate with the procurement team to ensure the availability of necessary resources for uninterrupted operations.
Continuously seek opportunities to improve workshop efficiency and productivity. Implement process enhancements to streamline operations and reduce downtime.

The Successful Applicant:

Trade qualified automotive, light vehicle, auto electrician or under body specialist (essential)
Excellent knowledge of automotive parts and light vehicles
Inquisitive and continuous improvement mindset
Ability to multitask and prioritise jobs accordingly
Ability to communicate well with others and influence at all levels
Experience working with field service teams and external stakeholders (beneficial)
