Our client is experience growth in their company and a new opportunity for an experienced quality handman who is able to turn their hand at any maintenance roile to join their company.


This position requires the handperson to provide general maintenance to perform minor trade and adhoc work for small buildings in the Brisbane region.


To be Successful:

You will have previous experience completing building maintenance either as with a trade background or as a trade's assistant, and will be able to perform tasks such as:

  • Painting
  • Plaster Board repairs
  • Laying and/or removing flooring
  • Flooring repairs
  • Minor Tiling works
  • Minor Carpentry works
  • Minor Door & Lock repairs
  • Plumbing repairs (work not requiring a licensed plumber)
  • Electrical work (only permitted if appropriate license is held)

You will be able to:


  • Provide demonstrated experience in a similar position
  • Be an excellent communicator, both verbal and written
  • Computer literate with MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word), and be able to provide reports when required
  • Sound knowledge of WHS legislation and be a current White Card holder
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in your work is essential
  • Demonstrate excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Must be able to work well autonomously or within a team
  • Must be highly motivated with a 'can do' attitude
  • Be well presented and customer service driven
  • Must hold a valid Driver's Licence
  • Tools and equipment will be provided upon commencement.
This role is open to either a contractor or permanent fulltime employee.


Salary:
$ $40.00 per hour
